About me
Hi! My name is Madelene, I grew up in a small town in Norway called Porsgrunn. I found my interest in photography very early on when I started my lifestyle/fashion blog at age 15, I am now a photographer with 7 years of experience and I have always loved creating a story using only my photos to tell the tale. This all lead me moving to Los Angeles at age 18 to pursue my dream. Two months in I began taking headshots for striving actors and actresses.
My LA photography life took a turn when I was signed as a model. I did not know at the time that this was an extremely important part in furthering my career as a photographer. Not only was I learning how it was to be in front of the camera, I also learned a lot from getting back photos of my self I did NOT like. Making sure I didn't make the same mistakes the photographers made with me when I was taking the photos.. I learned all about angles, what is flattering and what is not. I started shooting fashion and beauty photography of all my model friends. Before you know it I was working with some of the biggest modeling agencies in the world.
About a year and a half ago I met the man of my dreams. And for the first time ever started thinking about what it would look like in my life to get married and have kids. I have always loved LOVE, as cheesy as it sounds. But now I had this whole new outlook on what I wanted my future to be. And with that came my new interest in capturing couples in love! There is something about it that is so different from anything else. I felt like I was back in my creative blogging days, being able to tell a true story from moments caught through my lens, but even better!
I am someone with major appreciation to detail, and quite the perfectionist in my work if I may admit. This could only benefit you when you are seeking the perfect photographer for whatever you might be in need of. I am goofy, fun and yet very professional. And my goal is to help my clients have fun and be comfortable, while getting natural effortless memories for life!
